Group and Private Classes

I teach painting and drawing classes in Gainesville, FL. For private lessons  you now have a choice of in-person or Zoom sessions.  Working with all ages and levels of ability,  I tailor my instruction to the specific needs of the student.  My method is based on representational painting.  Along with hands-on demonstrations,  advice is offered on materials, technique, color mixing and design.  Students can select the subjects they want to paint. 

The scheduling is done on a monthly basis. Pick a day and time and reserve that slot for a month.  For cost savings, you can take lessons with a friend, or with a small group of four or less.

Mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel  and charcoal.

Subjects are painting/drawing basics, portrait and figure (beginner to advanced), still life  and landscape.

Methods are alla prima and Flemish (indirect).
